We’ve made tons of plans with friends and family to visit the latest café/restaurant in town, but there are those days when you don’t want to get out of the house or leave the comfort of your couch to prepare your meals. We’ve all faced a similar situation and ended up calling from restaurants near our homes in the past. Fret not, we introduce you to a new concept where you can choose what you cuisine you feel like indulging in, add to your cart and wait for your order. What’s so special about this, you may ask? Well, these meals are prepared by reputed chefs who also are a part of the well-known hotels in the country; or have been associated in the past.
Here is a low down of our experience with Holachef:

Aloo Matar Masala with Gobi Parathas (Chef Shirali Vengsakar): the next time you crave for homemade roti, sabzi order for this dish! The Aloo Matar masala was gravy based and went perfectly with the Gobi Parathas. The curry was missing a little salt, upon adding the same – it made up for everything. This is accompanied with Dal Makhni and Veg Pulao. The dal was a little water based, but tasted good. The Pulao went well with the Aloo Matar and the dal. All in all, this is a perfect home cooked meal for all those who are away from home or simply craving for Indian food. Priced at 125 INR.

Vegetable in Hot Garlic Sauce with Burnt Garlic Rice (Chef Radhika Khanna): we were really excited to try this dish out! It sounded so good and tasted equally good. The vegetables (Broccoli, carrots, spring onion etc) in a hot garlic sauce were a perfect combination with the Burnt Garlic Rice. The rice was topped with lots of garlic adding a great flavor to the rice. To our surprise, the rice was over within seconds and left us craving for more. This dish is accompanied with Potato dumpling in sesame butter dressing and a kimchi salad. The dumplings are soft and delicious. They are topped with garlic and spring onions, taking the taste of this dish to a whole new level, which left us carving for more! The kimchi salad is a good palate cleanser and was seasoned very well. This is a must-try if you are looking to order in something different from your regular Indian food. We are sure you won’t be disappointed. Price at 250 INR.

Kokum Cooler (Chef Hemali Prasad): Kokum is supposed to be really healthy and good for your body. It cools and has several health benefits. We weren’t too fond of this drink until we had a sip of the drink prepared by Chef Hemali. It’s a great addition to your meal to help you digest and gulp down your food. Go on and order this one already. Comes in a cute little bottle and is priced at 60 INR.
Tapioca Pudding (Chef Shirali Vengsakar): a little sweet dish the perfect way to end any meal and this was a good idea. Tapioca mashed together makes for a perfect yet light dessert. Priced at 40 INR, this is a good sweet treat.
