Master Chef Ruhee Bhimani and Optimum Nutrition India have come together to create a series of healthy yet yummy dessert recipes using Casein and Whey as main ingredients.
Here is a quick recipe on how to make delicious eggless chocolate almond mousse within 15 minutes:
Almond Flour – 1 cup
Coconut Flour – 1 cup
Dates (blended to make a paste) – 3-4 pieces
Chocolate Casein – 1 packet
Chocolate Whey – 1 packet
Cocoa powder – unsweetened
Xylitol – as per taste
Almond milk/ soy milk
Mix all the dry ingredients together and start whisking them together at 45 degree angle to let it mix easily. Add the milk slowly, to ensure that the mousse retains it texture. Once all the ingredients are mixed and blended together, let it sit for 5 minutes before setting them in shot glasses or cups as per your choice.
That’s it! Your mousse is ready to eat within 15 minutes. The dates help you with iron and potassium, Xylitol is a substitute for sugar which is 3-4 times sweeter than sugar with only 40% of the calories compared to the regular sugar.
Casein is the paneer component of milk which gives the mousse a good texture. Who knew making a mousse can be this healthy and eggless! Trust us when we say that the mousse tastes nothing less than YUMMY! So it goes without saying that #HealthyIsYummy Indeed!
