Daniel Patissier

Townies. One word to describe & judge people residing in south Bombay. Sometimes, we have to cross those boundaries to visit the other side of the world for experiences, fun, friends and most importantly food!

I’m sure most of the readers are already judging us, but hey after a long day at work, it’s a little tiring to travel across ends of the city and back. So, just, okay! Jokes apart, we want to share with you about this beautiful little patisserie – Daniel Patisserie that has newly opened off Pali Naka, diagonally opposite Janta bar – a landmark everyone knows!oimg_0133Overall:

Food: 4/5

Service: 4/5

Ambience: 4/5

Value for Money: 4/5

They have cupcakes, macaroons, cheesecake (not the traditional, but the Japanese cheesecake a more fluffy version, cake pops, biscotti and more. Must haves here include the olive, mango & passion fruit, rose and elderflower macaroons. The cheesecake is unlike what you’ve had anywhere yet, and quote us for that! Super warm, fluffy and melts in the mouth kind. Where you just cannot have one, so it’s best to take the cheesecake home regardless of other items you are packing from here.img_0125

In the cupcakes, we were intrigued by the double chocolate cheesecake and it’s for all those who like the best of both (and all) worlds. The macaroons are priced at Rs. 75 each, cheesecake at 490 per box, cake pops at Rs. 60  and cupcakes at Rs. 70 each.  img_0127img_0135

Our experience here was that everything was unique – the flavors, the quality, quantity, service and the way the store is made (the vibe). Everything is perfectly sweet, good in quantity which justifies the price and leaves you craving for more with every bite you take. If you are looking for a new place or experience for your sugar rush or dessert binge, try this out!img_0124
